ONE of the reasons to why life with YAYA = HAPPY!

There was this day when Yaya and I went to catch Transformers at Cathay after my school. We came across this machine that seems to be able to let us catch some little mini cute soft toys easily. So, we tried. And within $4, yaya got me 2 mini ice creams. The big one is used to contain my house keys that I bought long ago...

Then, last Thursday, zilei, joanne, glenn and I went for Aston's at Cathay once again. And after that, the 3 girls decided to try to get it. After a freaking $15, we only managed to get a rabbit and a mini ice cream. A high price to pay for, yes, I know. For the process, please visit Zilei's.

And last Saturday, when at Cine, yaya and i decided to try our luck knowing that there's a similar machine there.. And guess what?!

$9, for 3! 2 tooth plus a curry pok that I simply can't resist!

With $2 more spent, a handkerchief plus a milk!

With $1 more, another curry pok!

And at the end of $12, look at my collection!

Seriously, life without yaya's a disaster......

Yesterday... 25 July 09

I got to interview and talk to the theme song singers for NDP 2009 yesterday-
Electrico and 陈伟联.
It was a phone interview though. =)
There were like many jokes created during the interviews and most importantly,
I'm glad that I learnt new stuff and understood a little about how media drags time.
A good experience I suppose?

Dinner out at Waraku with Darryl, Mel and Chengyao yesterday.
Throughout I was like... "天啊！也太Q了吧？"
The food was really superb!
And met Zhen and Jeb coincidentally. HAPPY!

Anyway, Mel, I'm missing you as I click on my hot keys now.
You're everywhere!

Officially, The First Ride.

I rode on "pok-pok" already!
HAHA.
Yaya bought me my helmet yesterday.
And, if your head fits 'S-size', you're welcome for a ride too! =)

Since young, my family owns a car.
So I'm kinda very used to sitting in a car everywhere we go.
And bike is seriously different!
When speeding, you can feel the wind slowly coming and finally embracing you!
But the second you stop, everything is back to normal.
The feeling was really weird though. HAHA.
But, I thought it was really dangerous.
Nothing to do with Yaya's skills.
Just that it's really 肉包铁 and I think no matter how careful a biker is, it is still dangerous.
But we were on the road from his house to mine at 01:15am, so traffic was great!

Anyway, it was my second ride on a bike.
First one was on ali's, years back when he just passed.
And Yaya asked... "I more stable or ali?"
I was like... "Hmm. Ali lorrr."
HAHA.
Seriously, Ali was. But I thought Yaya was riding well too.
Especially when I'm not a light one. Hee.

You're so cool baby..
And I'm a 'teeny weeny' proud of you...
Afterall, it was a 10-points, 1-time-pass.

Then, I thought about her wedding night..
Darling, I don't wanna be your bridesmaid (like I promised) anymore.

I wanna be your emcee for the night.
So that I can tell your guests what we experienced together.

How hard we played for our love, netball.
How we hid in the toilets and applied mascara for Sec 4 graduation.
How we chionged for recesses.
How I cried for you when you got D7 for English.
How we planned to join NYP and be nurses when we did badly for O.
How we persuaded our moms to let us go Orchard with the rest.
How you stand by your house window and spot for Mr Calvin Ang.
How we watch S.H.E concert DVD and cried together.
How I planned to get you a handphone with my own money if you still don't get one before poly.
How we chatted on the phone everyday because you only memorised my number besides your house's.

I guess I can never finish listing what we did together.
The happy, sad and angry moments we had.
With Ngoh, we braced everyday together.

Look darling, I have so much to say on your wedding day!
You better live till then!
If not, just as I told you, I'll be uberrrrr angry!
Things will be fine.
God knows you have a family, bf and friends that loveeeeeee you a super load!

School started today.
This module's conducted at Dhoby Gaut campus, 0830h.
I've totally got no problem with the timing as I'm always working 0745h at sPools.

Today I noticed that the feeling is weird.
As usual, I take 65 to school. Just like during the TP days where i've to change 8 or 15.
However, now I take the oppposite direction to school.
I realised that I miss the TP days.

MDIS stuff is easier to study and at least I'm doing something that I like.
BUT. The people there are different.
I don't know how to put it.
In TP, we were always in a whole big group.
Be it if it's boring SIP or just a simple one hour lunch break, it'll be so much fun!
Now, the atmosphere and all is just different.

I wanna go back.
Go back to the poly days.
Sticking with yihao, shitting with shuling, having fun with zhiwei regan, bus with whynny willis, java with ali, talking cock with paully, accessories sharing with sabby, networking with faiz..........
Alright. I know it's impossible.
We have to move on.
Move on for the better future ahead.

Still, can we have a gathering sooooooooon?!
It's been almost 1.5 years since we finished our netInfra paper last February.....

好吧，隆重的介绍，我最近（这两个星期）爱上了的是- 韩国偶像团体SS501。
或许你会觉得，都21了，这把年纪的人还会追偶像吗？
我觉得，真的；就是一股“超爱他们”的感觉。
就像我当年怎么“爱上”5566一样。哈哈。

我到底是怎么认识他们的呢？
因为SS501的团长正是最近当红偶像剧，《花样男子》，饰演伊智厚的金贤重。
他们为该剧唱了一首超动人的歌。
在听了歌声之后，因为好奇他们的长相才开始搜寻。
怎么知道！其中一位团员还蛮帅的。
不过，像我那么有内涵的人，怎么可能单靠外表就喜欢他们呢？
5566 帅吗？还好吧。。
JR呢? 那叫可爱。。
所以，是他们非凡的舞技以及歌声吸引了我。

我因该是疯了吧？
考试期间不好好地念书，还在这里为新的偶像写部落格。
不止呢，我还花了超多时间在 Youtube 看他们的演出。
现在，还能凭长相喊出他们的中文名。哈哈。
很疯吧？我知道。

现在有股想要马上学会韩文的冲动。
不然每次都顾着看译文字幕而忽略了他们的表情。
不然就是在没译文字幕的情况下而完全不懂他们在说些什么！
还蛮烦恼的。
再来，我想在空中做些有关韩国演艺圈新闻的单元。
希望啦。

好吧，希望我这股“韩流”不会退的太快啦。

I renewed my contract with SAFRA RADIO today.
So I am officially theirs up to 31 July 2010.
An extra shift on Saturday..
More responsibilities and more ideas needed!

Still, I LOVE MY JOB!
And love my new pay even more! =P

Busy Buzzy Updatesss!

For this past week, I've been working terribly hard on schoolwork.
Advertising project nearly drove us all crazy..
The exam, HAIZ, shall not talk about it!

Went Night Safari with Yaya yesterday night as a post-exam trip!
It was a fcuking tiring and pissing off trip..
If you've never been there before, I seriously don't know if you should..
I've always wanted to make a trip there..
Many have mentioned how sucky it was, but I didn't believe..
It turned out to be totally not what I imagined.

HOW TO?!
The whole place was damn damn damn dark la!
Initially I thought it was just the first few closures..
But 8 out of 10 closures were like that!
It was sooooooooooooo dark!
How to see anything?!!!
Even when walking on those dangerous treks, I think you can fall anytime!
And not to disturb the animals, no flash is allowed when taking photos..
Then how to take?!

Nvm.
They had animal shows at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30 & 10:30 PM.
We wanted to catch the 9:30's.
Arrived there at 9:25, the lady said..
"I'm sorry, the 9:30 show's full. These people are queuing for the 10:30 one.."
And, the bloody crowd's damn big!!!!
Walked so far, bloody tired and I've to Q for 1 hour?!
No mann! Off to home..

So, the whole trip was all about...
1. Mind your steps when walking
2. Walk and walk and walk damn far (Pay $10+ more for tram)
3. Bloody perspiring hot!
4. Spotting animals when they are in their closures. If you do, CONGRATULATIONS!
5. Take photos with flash off.

I give it 6/10, becos I saw a tiger and leopard damn close up!

Seriously, can't we just have a teeny weeny bit of light more?

Alright.
Today's the last day of my ‘holiday’.
Gotta work hard for next Sat's exam and project deadline AGAIN tmr.
Officially, I hate MATT HAMILTON.
Can't you just make school more enjoyable?!
With less work and easier exams?

MY 21st BIRTHDAY ~

I still have many photos with Glenn for the dinner we had..
BUT.
Before I forget everything clearly, I think I should really update..
It's a long and naggy one though.......

On June 7, Sunday, mum insisted that we have a little celebration at home.
I was thinking, is it because it's 21, or is it because none of them in the family remembered about my birthday last year? HAHA.
It's probably both!
Anyway, she bought a cake from our favourite Savoury Fare, and so, we 'celebrated'!



On June 8 itself, I spent the day with Yaya.
On Sunday night, he said..
"Tomorrow 1pm, Jurong East MRT station, don't be late!"
With my personality, of cos I didn't just said 'OK' without any queries.
I asked where were we heading too, why can't I meet you along the MRT way, why must it be 1pm, what if i was late, WHERE WHY WHAT WHEN HOW.. ?????????
And, he was pek chek! HAHA. But I didn't care.......

Upon arriving at Jurong East at 1.15PM, besides niam-ing me for being late, he gave me a bouquet of flowers!
12 roses, so I now have 26 in total. HAHA.
So, I asked him for our itinery while waiting for bus and! he's already got everything written in a card..
'First, Jurong Bird Park, then, Esplanade walk walk, Dinner at Quality Hotel and Mount Faber see moon...'
Tell me.... Isn't this itinery just wrong?!
Why Bird park with this weather?!
And, what's there to walk in Esplanade?!
plus, QUALITY HOTEL?! We know the food there sucks!
Lastly, See moon?! WTH!
So, I asked WHERE WHY WHAT WHEN HOW again.. HAHA..

When we alighted from the bus, he was like..
"Eh, this weather go Bird park, OK not?! Think the birds also will die laaaaaaaa..."
Then, TADAAAAAAA, we arrived at SNOW CITY!
Sweet yaya had planned and researched all about the rental of pants, gloves, etc..
It was a great experience with the uber cold weather and snow la......



After Snow City, I was dang hungry and he refused to let me eat a thing! Of course he had something planned la.. He just said that we're in rush with time and we have to rush down to Esplanade now.. I was like.. "RUSH?! Are we going for a play or something?" And finally due to the long wait of shuttle bus service, we had no choice but to take a cab and yes, we went SINGAPORE FLYERS.....
The scene was spectacular! S$10 per person nia, worth it!



NEXT, we had to rush again! And, all our transportation was by public ones, can you imagine?! This time round, I bugged him to why must we go Quality Hotel.. Then yaya said, "Ok, if you don't want any more surprises, I tell you la, actually we going for steamboat...." DIAOOOO! Steamboat cannot go Bugis meh?! So, I thought we were going for Zhen Fa's, cos it's somewhere near there.. He played along and said yes..... We ended up walking to united Square and I knew we were going Vienna, as we've always wanted to go there..
The food is damn marvellous I tell you!!!!! Especially the corn soup.....



After food we were actually heading for Night Safari, as Yaya managed to find the 50% off coupon.. But, it was really inaccessible. We ended up KTV-ing at Teo Heng with Yaya's family...
Fun!


Yaya said he had no money and could only afford a necklace.. I thought it was ok as he had spent a lot for the day... Finally he said the necklace was from KaiNing and he took out his present for me... A polaroid as he can't afford a digital camera.. But we had fun playing with it and it gives nice photos...!

Lastly, BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG thanks for all your wishes!
I enjoyed my day and I lovee you fat BB..
